Outside Sales Representative [Canada & US]

We are on the hunt for a seasoned outside sales representative with experience in refrigeration and food equipment sales in Canada and the US.

  • This person reports to the Director of Sales.
  • Duties include contacting existing and potential customers in Canada and the US and establishing and building long-term relationships in order to generate sales with such.
  • This position is based at our office but requires flexibility to travel (approximately 75% of time) in Canada and the US

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business with Bottler Groups, Beverage Distributors, Food Service Dealers, Regional and National Accounts.
  • Support and monitor sales activities of HABCO Authorized Food Service Equipment Dealers
  • Represent HABCO at designated Beverage Bottler Buying Groups, Food Service Equipment Dealers Buying Groups, National Chain Account Buying Groups
  • Organize and set-up exhibits and represent HABCO Products at industry trade shows as determined necessary to promote business development
  • Assume responsibility of projects from time to time assigned by Senior Management

Qualifications

  • Degree/Certificate in any of the following fields: food preparation or restaurant management an asset
  • Minimum ten years experience in sales/marketing of commercial refrigeration and food service equipment
  • Experience working with food service equipment dealers preferred
  • Experience using CRM systems
